Benner Township Water Authority will begin water main and fire hydrant flushing the morning of August 12, 2024. Residents may experience temporary discoloration of water and a temporary reduction in water pressure.
August 12th – 14th – Hampton Hills/Opequon – Hydrants will be flushed. Customers should not notice any changes in pressure.
August 13th – Grove Park – Hydrants will be flushed. Customers will likely notice a change in pressure but with the new high service pumps we are hopeful it will be less change than in previous years. Work will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
August 15th – Peru System – Hydrants will be flushed. Customers should not notice a change in pressure.
