Sinkholes & Our Drinking Water

In central Pennsylvania it isn’t uncommon to have a sinkhole open up. Due to the karst geology of our area the BTWA is concerned with what is spread on the surface that may quickly migrate into the aquifer below. Our aquifer has already been effected by activity on the surface of the earth. We hope everyone thinks about what is being spread on the ground above our precious drinking water storage system.
